My work exists in the nebulous space between written language and live address, sculpture and getting dressed, personal soliloquy and satirical declamations from fictional characters. With an interdisciplinary process, I mix a personal voice with imaginary world building and politics. These projects begin with the creation of a text, or a script, that animates bodies, both human and sculptural, into performance, reverie, or narration. The stories I present, disrupt assumed notions of erotics and violence, and propose alternative metaphorical attachments to contemporary politics and trauma. The works collect narrators, genres, and perspectives, revealing stories as shifting and incomplete ideologies.
